Our annual Eisteddfod took place this week at St Gerard's School.  Highlights included performances in drama, music and history.  As a celebration of Welsh culture, the Eisteddfod encourages students from Year 7 to 9 to participate in various individual and group activities.  They compete for their houses to win the overall shield as well as individual shields and medals.  Deiniol took the Eisteddfod by storm for the third year in a row, congratulations to them for winning the house shield.  Individual shields were won by Milly (Year 7), Chloe (Year 8), Jacob (Year 9).  On stage medals were awarded to Catrin (Year 7), Ben (Year 8), Daniel (Year 9).  The learner's medal was awarded to Anton (Year 8).  We are already looking forward to next year!
