The school played host to a hockey team from Headfort School, a school very like St Gerard's, situated some miles north of Dublin. A short tournament had been arranged by Mr Harrison and Ms Roberts, involving some other local schools also(Ysgols Tryfan and Brynrefail). St Gerard's held the visitors to a hard fought draw. We have been invited back to Headfort so watch this space.......!
