The team entered for this event won the quarter finals. They played three matches and won all three decisively to become North Wales champions.

Thus, this term, the school is celebrating some outstanding achievements in basketball. Having competed successfully in the quarter finals held at St David's School, Chester, it currently holds the North Wales championship for boys' basketball in both KS3 and KS4. This enables them to move on to the semi-finals for all Wales in this event, with the semi-finals on March 28th.

Individual success has been achieved by Patrick Fairburn (Yr 9) who has been selected to play for Wales at basketball, with his first match against Ireland in the near future.

Five other members of our u14s squad have been selected for the North Wales squad: Nat Healey, Saul Hope-Robinson, Dylan Hughes, James Murphy and Andrew Ryan.
