Year 8 had a very enjoyable end of year trip to Betws-y-Coed and Gwydir Castle, Llanrwst. We went to Swallow Falls then into Betwys-y-Coed for a walk across the old suspension bridge crossing the Conwy River. The sun shone for us giving all the excuse needed to buy ice creams! The owner of Gwydir Castle kindly allowed us to have our picnic lunch in the beautiful gardens. She then gave us a very interesting tour of this historic house, regarded as one of the finest Tudor homes in Wales. To sum up, a fantastic day with equally fantastically behaved pupils!
