We were recently delighted to be able to support North Wales Regional Athletics Board by loaning our school minibus to transport the North Wales Juniors to Yorkshire for the British Inter-County Mountain Running Championship.
Home advantage was definitely a factor on the day, with Yorkshire in danger of sweeping the board at the event. So, it was a major coup for the U17 Ladies team (featuring St Gerard’s Y11 student, Anwen) to win team gold by a single point! You can see the team, including Anwen (and our minibus in the background) pictured above.
