Together we achieve, perform and grow
Throughout the year pupils are encouraged to take part in house events and fixtures.
Following in our catholic heritage our three school houses are named after local saints.
- DEINIOL – Named after St. Deiniol, the first Bishop of Bangor in Gwynedd, house colour: red.
- SEIRIOL – Named after an early 6th century saint from Anglesey, house colour: light blue.
- TUDNO – Named after the patron saint of Llandudno, Conwy, house colour: yellow.
House Fixtures
One of the main components of our house system is sports. Yearly there are house competitions in various sports including sports like: basketball, netball, hockey and cross-country. Participation is a key element of house events and houses receive points for participation as well as success.
Eisteddfod
Annually, our Year 7 – 9 pupils partake in school Eisteddfod activities to celebrate St David’s Day March 1st. The Eisteddfod celebrates and encourages pupil participation in public speaking, drama and dance while also having individual academic challenges in various subjects. Awards and participation for the Eisteddfod are a key part of our house system.
