Weekly assemblies follow a format that introduce a broad range of topics from pastoral issues to current affairs. For example, November sees the school community commemorating the sacrifices of our Armed Forces in a number of ways. One of the more recent highlights was the drama assembly by our Year 9 students, where they cleverly brought to life scenes from Michael Morpurgo’s moving novel and drama, ‘War Horse’ – yes, including the horse itself!
Several members of staff commented on how interesting it was to see the students show off their dramatic skills, and Mrs Hughes was delighted with their collaboration.
